Internship Dates: Monday, September 9, 2024 – Friday, December 13, 2024 

 

DiMella Shaffer is looking to hire two General Architectural Interns for our Fall 2024 internship cycle. As a General Architectural Intern at the firm, you will work collaboratively as a part of a dynamic team delivering design excellence across a variety of markets. Our team is responsible for balancing quality, creativity, and functionality while working to exceed client goals. The General Architectural Intern will be assigned to two project teams and will work alongside them in tasks such as design, documentation, collaboration, and communication to create inspiring spaces for people to live, learn, work, and play.

Things we value, but are not required to apply: 

  • In pursuit of a professional degree, or recently obtained professional degree 
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphics software 
  • Proficiency in Revit 
  • Expertise in Sketch-Up/Lumion 

 

Things you might work on during your internship / Co-Op: 

  • Documenting design and/or technical ideas generated by others. 
  • Revising documents under guidance of experienced team members. 
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations including drawings, renderings, reports. 
  • Maintaining submittals / construction administration logs.
