Taylor Walker

While studying abroad in Prague, a high school history teacher first piqued Taylor’s interest in architecture. Ever since, she’s been motivated with the ability for design to solve problems and make people’s lives better. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Taylor’s creative abilities are augmented by her excellent coordination and communication skills, making her an asset to collaborative design, architectural and construction teams. Her ability to motivate and organize others has had a lasting effect on projects and repeat work from clients who love working with her. A passionate advocate for the firm’s sustainability mission, she applies practical sustainable design solutions to each project she works on. As a Passive House Certified Professional, she is well versed in high performing building envelopes and low energy systems. Taylor is an abstract thinker, a concrete analyst, an outstanding hockey player and coach, and a ruthless poker player.
