Cipriana believes Human Resources is about creating meaningful experiences that help people feel valued, supported, and empowered. Her passion for HR began with positive experiences early in her career, where she saw firsthand how an empathetic HR team could shape a welcoming workplace. Those moments inspired her to pursue HR to build environments where people feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work.
At DiMella Shaffer, Cipriana collaborates closely with leadership to develop inclusive and equitable policies, implement clear processes, and identify resources that support employees. She finds joy in seeing these efforts come to life—whether through a new policy or when the firm is recognized for its commitment to equity.
But the most impactful moments for her are when candidates, new hires, or employees share that they’ve had a positive experience. For Cipriana, those experiences matter: they influence how people show up, how engaged they feel, and how connected they are to the team.
She is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion, championing initiatives that ensure all voices are heard and everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Outside of work, Cipriana loves traveling and exploring different cultures, which gives her fresh perspectives and reinforces her belief in the shared connections that unite us all.
