One East Pleasant

In Amherst, Massachusetts, five colleges and universities thrive together within 15 miles of the Town. As such, the area is in demand for different types of student housing. Archipelago Investments teamed up with Holst Architecture (Design Architect), DiMella Shaffer (Architect of Record), and Cutler Associates (CM) to help meet this demand. A five-story mixed-use building, the project includes a mix of 134 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments units with ground-floor retail and covered parking for 36 vehicles. The development integrates and enhances the character of the surrounding neighborhood to increase the foot traffic for existing and new businesses.
