Masks For Good

DiMella Shaffer is chipping in to produce cloth face masks for use in senior living communities. Our clients ensure that these can be used for staff members in culinary, management, cleaning, and maintenance. This leaves the medical-grade masks for patients and direct-caregivers.

In recent days, more and more scientists and medical experts are making the case that everyone, even the general public, should wear masks to lower the rate of transmission of COVID-19. It has been reported that even the CDC may reverse its official stance and recommend that people wear face masks when in public.

Below is a link with tutorials on how to make cloth face masks at home. We ask you to distribute this amongst your professional network and friends. All it requires is a sewing machine, fabric, ties or elastic and a desire to assist! We’re all in it together, and every little bit helps.

If you are willing and able to contribute to these efforts, please email us at masksforgood@dimellashaffer.com after you have produced your masks. We will arrange pick-up and delivery to our senior living communities.
