Cytiva Manufacturing and Testing Facility

The Cytiva Manufacturing and Testing Facility supports five clean manufacturing lines operating 24 hours/day building and testing Cytiva’s Xcellerex line of bioreactors and their associated temperature control units and peripherals. The program includes research and development labs, factory acceptance testing areas, shipping, and receiving and warehouse areas. Additional spaces in the office area are a café & dining, conference, and open and closed office space. Complex coordination of specialized electrical and data testing circuits at each build/test station was a key component of this project along with accessibility upgrades, and major electrical and HVAC systems expansion.

In 2020, the project team completed the 80,000 SF renovation and fit-out of the Cytiva Manufacturing and Testing Facility in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts through a design-build approach.
