Harper Apartments

The two-building Harper Apartments redevelopment creates 265 apartments, 2,500 SF of ground floor retail space, and 11,000 SF of green space in this booming neighborhood in Allston, located near the Boston Landing Commuter Rail station and Harvard Avenue Station on the MBTA Green Line.

The project features Boston’s first fully automated above-ground parking garage. With technologies that enable a valet-like experience, residents interested in renting one of the 168 spaces can drive up to begin their car retrieval process through a mobile app. By eliminating ramps, turning radius, and pedestrian walkways, the garage efficiently uses every square foot of space for parking, requiring 50% less space than a conventional garage. With this approach, we maximize rentable unit square footage and offer a variety of amenities.

Amenities include communal outdoor recreational space featuring a grilling area and outdoor seating, a fitness center, coworking and lounge spaces with a private conference room, bike storage, and a pet spa. A community-run artist studio/gallery space is available to all on the ground floor of the building.
The project features 34 affordable units, 12 of which are dedicated to local artists, and the building will be LEED Gold certified.
